Standardize and maintain the WIKA America’s network desktop environment. Provides direct leadership to Help Desk technicians to improve the skill level and effectiveness of the department. May provide administrative supervision when and as directed by management. Manages and balances the requirements of the customer, desktop support management, end-users, and other stakeholders.

Lead Support Desk Technician

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of help desk personnel to resolve service requests
  • End user support for Windows and Operating System(s) functionality
  • End user support for Desktop, Printer, Copiers, and mobile device hardware.
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues
  • Maintain and Configure access controls such as internet access
  • User On-Boarding and Off-Boarding

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience (with BA or BS degree) OR 5+ years of experience (with HS Diploma) with PC and Apple hardware, operating systems, networks, and Microsoft-related applications support.
  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate helpdesk environment
  • Candidate must have advanced experience supporting the Windows platform, including hardware, software, and a variety of peripherals.
  • Experience working with formal service-level agreements Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and iOS, Microsoft operating system installation and system imaging.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and escalation processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic CRM and AXAPTA are a plus.
  • Candidate should be able to perform daily help desk duties without the need of additional training. Candidate will be expected to be able to complete the tasks with minimal supervision and provide knowledge transfer and assistance to other technicians.
