2. Pressure switch with high adjustability of switch differential
With its wetted parts made of 316L stainless steel and a high-quality aluminium case, the PSM-700 pressure switch is suitable for corrosive process media and for harsh operating conditions in the process industry.

The switch differential on the PSM-700 enables flexible on/off control in control applications. It is fitted with UL-listed micro switches and has a very high switch point repeatability for reliable switching. A second electrical connection is possible, so that a flexible and optimal mounting position can be selected, even in confined spaces.

3. Universal, multi-channel measurement is now possible
3. Universal, multi-channel measurement is now possible
The CTS3000 multiplexer is part of the modular system of our CTR family and can be used with the multi-functional CTR3000 precision thermometer. It is used to switch between several thermometers in order to make the measured value registration easier or even to automate it. The autonomous communication saves time and money.

What is completely novel is that the CTS3000 can operate with resistance thermometers as well as thermocouples. Another innovation is that the measurement of the resistance thermometers or thermocouples is achieved through the CTS3000 without any loss of accuracy.

Up to four CTS3000 can be connected to a single model CTR3000 base instrument. The instrument will be presented for the first time at Hannover Messe 2019.

4. Seminar programme on the subject of SF6
Based around the EU regulation on fluorinated greenhouse gases, as a recognised testing and certification body we now also offer support in the field of SF6 – in terms of competence training. Responsible use of SF6 gas is essential due to the strong climate impact, so we include the applicable regulations in our training.

Interested? Why not take a look at our current SF6 training programme!

5. ScrutonWell® in focus
5. ScrutonWell® in focus
In our new YouTube video about the results of flow tests at NEL Glasgow, we take a closer look at the ScrutonWell®. What is meant by the Kármán vortex street? What effect does this have on bridges and chimneys and what are the advantages of ScrutonWells® over conventional thermowells? All this can be found in our new video.

Would you like further information on ScrutonWell®? Read our flyer or visit the WIKA blog.

7. Know-how on the subject of calibration, now on YouTube
7. Know-how on the subject of calibration, now on YouTube
Every measuring instrument is subject to ageing as a result of mechanical, chemical or thermal stress and thus delivers measured values that change over time. This cannot be prevented, but it can be detected in good time by calibration. But what is the difference between a calibration and a verification - and when must an adjustment be made? The answer to this can be found in our new video.

You don't know whether you need a factory calibration or a traceable calibration? No problem, in our second new YouTube video we explain to you the differences of the two calibration certificates and what you need to look out for with them.

8. Repeatability or non-repeatability?
8. Repeatability or non-repeatability?
The repeatability describes the accuracy with which the pressure switch switches with repeated approach to the same pressure value, while the non-repeatability is the opposite and therefore describes with what inaccuracy the switch switches, with repeated approach to a pressure value.

What is the importance of these terms and which is right or wrong? This and other fascinating details can be found in our new blog post. To ensure that you don't miss anything, you can also register for our regular free-of-charge news subscription. We can then keep you informed and up-to-date by e-mail on topics that you can choose yourself.
